Park Pal is a national park passport — it tracks the parks you've visited, the trips you log or plan, and the badges you earn along the way. This page explains, plainly, what the app collects, why, and how you stay in control of it.
We don't collect location data, contacts, or anything from your device beyond what you enter into the app yourself.
Solely to power your Park Pal passport: tracking your progress toward all 63 parks, showing your trip history and stats, calculating badges, and syncing your data across your own devices. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and file-storage provider, inside a project only Park Pal's backend can access. Every row is scoped to your account with row-level security, and trip photos are served through short-lived private links only you can generate — no one else, signed in or not, can read your trips, photos, or profile.

You can edit or delete any trip, park status, or profile detail at any time from within the app. Signing out does not delete your data — it's waiting for you next time.
Deleting your account is permanent and immediate: open Settings → Delete Account in the app. It removes your profile, every trip and photo, and all progress — there's no recovery window, so only confirm once you're sure.
Park Pal is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above and the in-app copy under Settings → Privacy Policy.
