PARKS PAL

Terms of Service

Effective September 14, 2026 · Applies to the Parks Pal mobile app (iOS & Android)

These are the terms for using Parks Pal. They're meant to be plain and short, not a wall of legal boilerplate — but by using the app, you're agreeing to them.

01 Using Parks Pal

Parks Pal is provided for your personal, non-commercial use tracking your own national park visits, trips, and progress. You're responsible for the accuracy of anything you enter into the app — trip notes, trail logs, wildlife sightings, and photos.

02 Not Directed at Children

Parks Pal is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

03 Park & Trail Information

Park, trail, and wildlife information in the app is provided for reference only and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Conditions at national parks change — always verify current trail status, closures, weather, and safety information with official park sources before you go.

04 No Warranty

Parks Pal is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data you enter will never be lost — back up anything irreplaceable, like photos, separately.

05 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parks Pal and its developer aren't liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the app — including reliance on park or trail information, or from technical issues, data loss, or service interruptions.

06 Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app — it's immediate and permanent.

07 Changes to These Terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above and the in-app copy under Settings → Terms of Service.
